Endorsement for Sheriff

March 10, 2010.   The Monterey County Deputy Sheriff Association (DSA) is officially announcing the support and full endorsement of Retired Commander Fred Garcia for Sheriff of Monterey County.

Throughout the week, DSA members (including Deputy Sheriff’s, Sergeants, Commanders, Captains and District Attorney’s Investigators and Supervising Investigators) voted for whom they would like to endorse for Sheriff of Monterey County.  The votes were tallied and Retired Commander Fred Garcia won by a significant margin.
